The Campaign for New Hampshire
The founders of the University of New Hampshire made two essential commitments when they created one of the first land-grant universities in the United States: to provide an affordable college education to students from all walks of life, and to emphasize instruction in the "practical Arts" of agriculture, business, and engineering.
Today, UNH has become a sea- and space-grant institution with a robust research agenda that remains inseparable from the needs of our citizens, driving innovation and industry throughout the state. It remains one of the single greatest providers of opportunity to students from all walks of life, and it prepares them to contribute as leaders in New Hampshire, and around the world.
